UPDATE on Krejci -

@CSNFlyer reporting David Krejci w/broken wrist. Will have surgery in Baltimore

That is devastating to this team!!! I'm waiting to see if any Boston media sources picks this up to confirm.

-------------------

The Boston Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 behind the strong goaltending of Tuukka Rask. Thoroughly out played for most of the evening the Bruins capitalized on the opportunities they were given. After giving up the first goal on a an Aaron Asham finish the Bruins scored a couple of minutes later and never looked back. Tuukka, as has he's been throughout the series was outstanding tonight. The Flyers came out storming and controlled good portions of this game, but Tuukka stood tall and was unflustered in the crease even as he was run into on multiple occassions by the Flyers. They better hope somebody runs him and knocks him out of the game on Friday, that is the only way they are going to get to Mr. Cool in the net.

Blake Wheeler who has been strugling and demoted to 4th line duty tipped a nice goal by Brian Boucher. Miro (the Hero) Satan scored on a breakaway after Mike Richards crushed David Krejci on an open ice hit. Lucic took the puck from Krejci after the hit and fed Satan who put a beautiful deke on Boucher to put the B's up 2-1. Krecji did get an assist on the play. Neither team scored in the second period.

Iron Man Recchi scored the Bruins 3rd goal on the powerplay after a Chara slap shot bounced of Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger right to Recchi on the doorstep. Patrice Bergeron sealed the deal with an empty netter. No Pronger miracle save on this one.

So at this point heading to the possible series clinching game 4 the Flyers have had the lead for all of 2:21. Carcillo aka Chicken fingers had the chance to spark the team by going with Thornton but as chickens do, he chickened out.

The Flyers have never come back from 3-0 and I seriously don't think they will this time. Rask is too good in net and the B's only need one more road style game to take them to the Conference finals. As of right now no word on the extent of Krejci's injury other than shoulder. Nothing on McQuaid as well. Look for the B's to dip into the Black Aces for next game if either is not able to go. Possible return to action for Mark Stuart if he is medically cleared.

The Bruins have the one final nail to hammer down into the Flyers coffin. Lets hope they can do it Friday night.
